frozen stiff power cords
so for the few other brave souls (or crazy, you decide) who venture out in the winter with the camper... what do you do about your power cord being frozen stiff when you are out with power? mainly,...

when tcm had the survey a few weeks ago, having the shore power where it disconnects from the camper was one I voted for. doing the retrofit with the suggestions talked about is something ill have to do. yet another modification to satisfy me. it never ends. lol.
Ha! Yup, it never ends! Good luck with your modification. I suppose I just haven't had to recoil the cord in anything below 20 degrees yet.. Below 30, yes, but I'd say 25-27 is about the coldest, though we do get temps up here in the single digits sometimes. When THAT happens I just don't go outside my house, and certainly won't be leaving to camp anywhere!! :)
