I was also surprised at how quickly one battery ran down and how long the integrated charger in the converter took to bring it back to full power. After some research I found that the specs for my converter says about 8 hours to recharge a group 27 (Magnatek 6345.)
I was wondering why the charger in my TT had been bypassed and replaced with a Samlex 1230 30 Amp charger. The trailer has a large group 4D battery, about 225 AH. I purchased the TT used so hadnt thought much about it til I realized how long the converter/charger took for the group 27. Then the light came on.
