ALthough your point is valid, if the oxygen depletes enough to snuff out the heater enough to produce CO, I'm pretty sure I won't be conscious enough (or even alive) to enjoy the deep sleep of CO poisoning. :)
With proper ventilation there is no CO emissions.
Not much CO2 emissions at 1300 nor the 1600 Btu settings either.
If I were fearful the first thing I would do is have no propane!
There have been no recorded deaths over the past 30+ years that Olympian Wave heaters have been used..... Other type of devices yes.
We go through this same discussion every cold season...
