When you have a condition where an appliance is generating CO, it's not the same for all LP products as you state. When the appliance is ventless, the CO being generated is delivered right to the space it's being used to condition.
Suggesting I "fear" the device may be a little strong. Having worked in HVAC for 25 years and having known of many people being killed by C0 definitely has made me more cautious. I'm not telling people how to manage their risk, everyone needs to make their own decision. I personally don't think sleeping in a confined space with a ventless appliance is a good idea no matter how remote the chance of CO death.

As I stated above, when you generate CO2 and introduce it into a source of combustion air, CO is generated. This is one big reason why a source of fresh air is required.
