After researching Hvac v/s CO poisonings I need to increase my CO detectors in my home! But wait I have 2 already.
I religiously inspect my heating system in my 40's home with a 60's Carrier roof unit.
Never gave me any problems over the past 20 years living in this home. I do all the repairs BTW.
As for the camper... I do cover my wave when not in use... That is important.
Zero Co readings for almost 10 years of lot's of warm radiant heat coming from our Wave heater. We have a great Canary! Our DOG! Not dead yet..
Geez, when I was a kid we had an old natural gas heater in our small home.. You had to crack a window to allow exchange of air or the house had to be really leaky to allow fresh air to enter the house... If you did not it could kill you.
**** no burn days here in Sacramento valley are making us burn a lot of Natural Gas producing so much CO into the air it scares me. I have 2+ cords of wood waiting.
