Hi,
Really cold doesn't start until the -30 area.
I replaced the return air grill for the furnace with a dual window fan. Happily that pressurizes the furnace duct work and keeps things thawed down to at least -37 c (-34 f). I've not had a chance to try it at any colder temperature. The fans draw a scant 23 watts (about as much as a 2 amp incandescent bulb). I use a mechanical thermostat so the fans only run 'as needed'.

Unfortunately on those real cold nights (20s) I need the furmnace to supply heat to the tanks (weather package). Or I'll have to go sans fresh water use.
What do you do in that situation?
