NYCsteve - Topsail was nice enough and while having the camper a mile from the beach is a little inconvenient it does keep the beach a little more wild. But nowhere near as wild as the beach at St George. Haven't been to St Joe so how does it compare to St George?
trackhead - Come on over. We don't have the spectacular desert and mountain scenery like Utah but there are some beautiful places east of the Ole Miss.
OBXcamper - Yes, beaches are nice. Worked for a while in Wilmington NC and stayed in a house a block off the beach. That was in the fall so not good for swimming but I enjoyed just walking on the beach in the evenings. I've visited the upper OBX one time but just for a couple hours. Haven't stayed there with the camper yet. Hope to do that someday.
