Aug 23, 2020Not a hater at all. In fact my truck's gear boxes have Amsoil in them. Goes back to my early days as a mechanic for a bulk hauling fleet. They tested Standard Oil {Amoco} synthetic gear oils which proved out to increase their fleet fuel mileage. Synthetic engine oils didn't work as well back then. I have used synthetic engine oils at times but am still not convinced that they work as well in engines and don't believe in the hype from Amsoil or any one else about extended oil changes. A quality oil and regular changes works for me.
Did like the picture though of the tin oil can. Now where did I put that opener spout? ;)
