not sure where the "Downgrading hitch bad idea" is coming from...
As stated earlier, with normal loading my TW exceeds the 1400 pound limit of the hensley. We go thru all kinds of moving stuff around to get within spec of the henslwy. This is the reason for the change. Need a hitch that will handle 1700 pounds of TW.
Now as long as I am changing (due to TW issues), I want to make decisions that give the best ride in the TV. Despite lots of effort and many conversations with Hensley, I was never happy with the (at times severe) ride we were getting.
