Generator on Tongue
Bought a generator for the TT and backup use at home. I think I can attach it to the tongue of my TT for trips, but wonder if there are any issues that I might be missing. Has anyone done this? ...

Mine goes in the tailgate corner of my truck bed. It is secured to the bed wall using the lockable steel rope. My truck also has a lockable folding hard plastic bed cover and of course the tail gate locks.
Makes for a nice OUT-OF-SIGHT secure spot for us when in travel mode or lock up mode. I just pull it out onto the tail gate when connected to the trailer shore power cable when allowed to run my generator at the camp sites. I leave the generator in the back of my truck all the time so now it is available to be used at home or where-ever we go.
My game plan was to keep the generator out-of-sight as much as possible and I have not had any thief problems using it over the past few years. It goes where I go. I would never leave my generator unattended at a camp site.
