Getting around
As a spin off from another thread, I thought I'd start a new one on how us TC'ers get around once we have set up camp. Some drop the camper off and drive the truck, others pack up and head to do sight seeing and such. But for me and my DW, we like to take little motorcycles along. We can then leave camp set up, the dog to chill for a couple hours or so and get out and about further than we could on bicycles.
Right now, we have the Twins; a pair of 1974 (That's right! 40 year old) Honda Trail CT90's. I got them from a guy who's parents put them in a storage rental over 30 years ago and recently died. They have under 1000 miles on them and were pretty easy to get back into shape. They are utterly reliable and since Honda made like, a bazillion of them, and still make them even today, just not imported to USA, parts are readily available.
