I know someone who carrys a full hardsided slide-in camper on a Global Ranger and is very happy with it. His payload is 3000 IIRC.
My '11 American Ford Ranger has a payload of 1000. I carried a 600# quad in it once and was very unnerving!! 1000# and the bumper would be dragging!! 3000# would crush it!!
Just out of curiosity, could a guy go to someplace like Australia, buy one and ship it to the US or would the US not allow it in?
