That is NOT what I said. I said if you add the 1000 lbs extra weight that the 150/1500 trucks have to the Global trucks, then their payload would not be that impressive. So how can the frames, axles, and suspensions be better if they cannot handle more wieght? Oh, and I still don't know who Denvermike is.

This is 100% false. There is no Ram 1500 that weighs 7,000 lbs. You would be lucky if the heaviest configuration was even 6,000 lbs.

Really Robert? You pick a "special" cab and chassis HD model that has no bed has your high payload example. It has no bed on it. Of course it will have a high payload if it has not bed. Add a 1,000 lb bed to that truck and that payload would drop to 2,300 lbs.
I am beginning to wonder if you know how payload is derived. You do know that a vehicles payload is derived by subtracting it's curb(kerb to you) weight from its GVWR(GVW to you). The more optional weight you add to the truck bringing its curb weight closer to its GVWR, then the less payload you will have. Hence the reason why even though American 150/1500 trucks have a higher GVWR and combined GAWR than those global trucks up above, they have less payload because how big and heavy they are.
Also,I posted everyday trucks that people would buy just like the 150/1500 trucks you have been comparing the Global trucks too that you have been saying are weak. You said earlier that you were only talking about regular trucks, but now you post a cab and chassis regular cab? There are 150/1500 trucks here that have more payload then that thing does with a bed. Also, how did I fabricate anything? Check the links I posted. The come directly from the manufacturer.
