GM and navistars new 4500 to 6500 trucks.
Wondering if stopping at 22,000 on the 3500 trucks is because the new trucks of 4500 and up are due out real soon ?? They will be GM body and duramax with navistar frame . My good friend works for nav...

I retired from the assembly plant that ran the medium duty trucks, designated the GMT560 line which covered the Kodiak 4500 thru 9500 frames. We also put the Isuzu cabs on the GM frames. We were told it was slow sales of the commercial fleet sales that was the reason for discontinuing these trucks. There was talk that Navistar was going to buy the line and continue to produce them but that did not come to be. I don't have any inside info on the future of any come back.
