I more disappointed with the 6 speed still being used for the gas engine. Dodge went to the 8 speed, and Ford will be running a 10 speed. We know GM has access to a 10 speed, but they make you jump through hoops to get it in anything for some reason.
401/464 is +40hp/+80ftlbs over the current 6.0's rating, so not too bad. Better than the Hemi 6.4, although probably less than the new Ford 7.3 and at a higher rpm.
As stated, it probably has a super mild cam and lots of potential if you are in to that sort of thing, just like the rest of the LS engines.
