Well looking at the power ratings got me thinking again. At first I was disappointed some, but after seeing the engine on video I am pretty happy about it. I know that GM detuned the 6.0 to work for the long haul so I’m sure it’s the same for the 6.6. Being the 6.0 did so well against the competition despite the on paper power ratings is no surprise. I believe this will be a good engine, hopefully it lives up the the 6.0 in being reliable and bulletproof. I’m sure that I won’t be purchasing one anytime soon. But I’m sure the new Sierra HD will be in my driveway in a few years. Of course it will be gas, with 4x4 and 4 doors...
