The thing I love about GM's is that they seem to be so mechanically simple and serviceable compared to Ford. However, when I purchase a vehicle, I like to buy what best fits my needs that is out at the time I'm shopping. Unless something earth shattering is coming out the next year, I don't like to wait, otherwise you're waiting in perpetuity. I believe their newer trucks are certainly nice. I'm a fan of the Duramax and now it seems like the wrapper has finally caught up to the engine. Now it seems like it's the engine's turn for an upgrade.
