As to the member who posted somebody couldn't sync their phone unless they paid for Onstar; take the vehicle back to the dealer and have them show you how to do it. Onstar has nothing to do with the bluetooth system and you don't need to pay for it. We don't.
Correct, we never had to either on our POS 2010 Tahoe. Syncing the phone worked just fine and was separate from on star.
