- GordonThreeExplorerI noticed that too, maybe the badges cost extra now?
Have to count the lugs, what is it 8 for 3/4 and 12 for 1 ton? - Fast_MoparExplorer

Or is it that so many people towed over the limits with 2500HD they just removed the badges?
Correct. It prevents getting chewed out by the weight police at the campgrounds. - LwiddisExplorer IIA 2500 mascradng as a 3500? Is nothing sacred?
- austingtaExplorerDon't they have 2500HD or 3500HD emblems on the doors?

I'm pretty sure the wheels have 8 lugs on both 2500 and 3500. - Me_AgainExplorer IIIWell most salesmen do not know the difference! So maybe they just threw the towel in? Chris

Am I missing something???? How does one tell if a new GM pickup is a 2500HD or a 3500 SRW??

Am I not looking at the right place on these vehicles?
Chris
Unless you're asking about Denali HDs, which I think all say "Denali HD" on them instead if "X500 HD", then you're looking at the wrong vehicles. A lot of people, myself included, debadge so that fewer questions are asked. - KD4UPLExplorerNo emblems now? That's annoying. You'll have to look at the door sticker I guess.

I just checked the online inventory at my local dealer and they have emblems on the 2017s. I think people are just removing them (I did). The only truck with ambiguous emblems is the Denali HD, which says exactly that on the door. - austingtaExplorer

Wouldn't your HD2500 badges help you? Or do you think some people might think you have a 1500 with that rig?
