At the end of the day, drive the rig that fits you ASSet the best, beyond that, ALL of them are better trucks than my first NEW truck back in 81. A 2500 GMC with a whopping 105hp 292 I6, and maybe 275 lb ft of torque. Now the 4.3 V6 from GM, puts out numbers BETTER, yes BETTER than the 4bbl 454 in 81, 195/330 specs or there abouts.

This is what is so often lost in all the brand bickering. Trucks have come so far in terms of power, safety, efficiency and comfort that it's really laughable the way most threads in this forum digress.
I recently bought a new truck a couple months back and it's like deciding which super model is the best looking. I'd be just fine driving any of them home (the truck..... get your mind out of the gutter :) )
