This is not the first time GM's combined sales exceeded Ford. What's really surprising is how many Chevy trucks outsold Ram compared to the previous numbers.
It really isn't that surprising to me if the rest of the US GM dealers had the same kind of rebates that GM dealers had around here in February. They were offering up to $6,500 of dollars cash back on top of 0% interest for up to 84 months plus no payments for 120 days on 1500s. That is pretty deep.
So when there's a spike in sales that must mean that manufacturer is giving big discounts...etc...
No, I never said that. I just noticed huge incentives on GMs in February. - Me_AgainExplorer III

As for the way people spend their $ needing or not needing the stimulus check everyone lives differently and has a different philosophy on how to live life... I in my mid 40s have always from what I think have a great balance on spending and saving...but in my early 40's being diagnosed with cancer (free of it now) kinda changed my outlook on that a bit...save for retirement? I do just not like I use to who knows If I will make it there. Every day is a gamble. I know so many people who saved their entire life never took vacations etc to retire at 58 and at 61 they end up passing away....we can purchase anything we want in life by means of cash credit loans etc but one thing NOONE can buy is time - ShinerBockExplorer

- Grit_dogNavigator IISince the thread derailed almost instantly......$5k, zero turn? You got off easy!
Those things are like gold up here, and never any good used ones that someone doesn’t want like $500less than new for...
I’m rockin a probably 30 year old Exmark walk behind for the front yard and places the big mower won’t get and a 20+ year old Ferris 60” zt rider. Took a long time to find both and for what $3k I’m into them, they’re great. But it would be a $15k + bill to replace them both in kind .
Nice part is, I (I really mean the kids) can knock off 5ac of mowing in about 4 manhours! - HondavalkExplorer II

????? You have 1000's of hard working working people through no fault of there own now out of work. As an older person through my lifetime I have accumulated a decent nest egg to survive on but when i was young with a family we basically lived from pay check to pay check. I'm sure there gonna run out and buy frivolous things like food, medicine, and gas.
Just curious, how will you spend the check(s) you are getting?
Things like food, medicine, and gas. :B
