You are in the Minority IMO the Duramax/Allison 2500/3500 Combo has been the most reliable over the years ,Used to be a Hard core Ford guy till they came out with the Horrific 6.0 Powerstroke then I went Duramax/Allison first a 2003 and now my AWESOME 2007 LBZ and Never looked back the only real bad problem they have had over the years is the 2001-2004 injectors were a problem for some folks but GM put or were Forced to put a ten year Warranty on them but after that people had them replaced on their own dime and they have never had the problem since and the Allison... well we all know they are a rock solid Trans and yeah and some over the Early years have had instrument cluster problems ..Drive line problems??? AHHH NO I have never really heard of that being a problem with them
