The Ram 68RFE gearing with 4.56 would be close to the Ford/GM with 3.73. The 5.7L's 5% more crank power is lost by 25% gearing penalty to GM. The 5.7L is fine, just as my weak GM 6.0L is fine. But if you have choices, you'll never regret more power (6.4L) or gearing (4.10/4.30).
