On Edit PS: well thne again the amount the F350 could add would be limited by the traction of the four tires on the about 8,500# truck!! Likely didn't even provide 28,000# pounds of pull before the tires broke traction.

I would take an HD auto tranny over a manual tranny any day even under this condition! Exception is some auto trann's without saying names. :W
