Has anyone tried those stick in the ground solar lights? DW says they don't work based on the neighbors experiences, but my thought is the newer ones might be better. ;)
Since I am just about the clumsiest person on the planet, I used these to mark the "tie down cords" or whatever you call them for the canopy we put over the picnic table. I got tired of tripping over the pegs. They worked just fine for this. Not too bright and the charge dies and doesn't stay on all night. Biggest problem we had was finding ground soft enough to stick the cheap plastic stakes into. When the batteries die die, had to get the special solar rechargeable ones from Lowes.
Now if we are in a situation where we are concerned about the canopy blowing away, we run a ratchet strap under the table from corner to corner of the canopy frame. That way I have less to run into.:S
