What is the difference in the weight of the beading, the cordage, the plies, and don’t forget the deeper tread??? How do each effect the performance???
The thing is you or I don’t know and GY isn’t going to tell you…
How does the added and unsprung weight effect the rest of the trailer???
So tires that have a disclaimer steer only, drive only are all inferior as well… what about directional tires are they inferior because of their disclaimer…
Actually the LTs are de-rated to 75 mph for trailer use… check even the mighty XPS rib speed rating…
To recap: your are taking a lot of assumptions that seem to make since to you and with no actual knowledge of the facts on the types of materials, or the mfg. processes used for the different types of tires to make your arguments…
You use as your example a tire size that very few travel trailers could ever use to make your arguments where they would have more meaning and be more appropriate in the 5er forums… 
Most TT are light duty trailers defined as under a 10,000 GVW…
It doesn’t matter if the LT is a better tire when they don’t fit or exceed the axle ratings…
