Got a "new" popup.
When I bought my Wildwood 372 REDS destination trailer I sold my popup. Its been 2 years and I am REALLY missing my popup!! I thought I'd look around for another trailer. I found a gem!!
I just recently bought a 1995 Rockwood 1940 from a family who has taken VERY good care of it. The trailer is perfect, it looks new inside and out, there are no signs of wear at all. It has new tires, brakes, bearings, springs, and winch cable. It is stored indoors when not in use. There is no mold, the canvas looks like new inside and out!! I got very lucky! I pick it up in April (keeping it stored for the winter).
That being said, does anybody have ANY info on a 95 Rockwood 1940? I can't find anything at all. I'll be towing this with a Chrysler 300 and a Dodge Charger. Can't even tell its behind the 300. The trailer has an indoor/outdoor stove, a 3 way fridge, furnace, awening, screen room, and sink. I'm going to add a 12 volt entertainment center (car stereo, 12V LED TV/DVD combo). Will also be adding a CB radio and police scanner (for when at the races) Will likely swap out the 12V battery for 2 6 volt GC batteries and throw a decent size solar panel and controller on for good measure.
When Spring comes I have to figure out how to install the antennas (all magnet mount) on the roof. Also want to get a Winegard TV antenna and Create a Breeze fan installed, but that I won't do myself.
If anyone has any ideas how to install a CB, scanner, and radio antenna throw the ideas at me!! I have a few months to figure it out. I can't wait to take this little trailer on its first trip!!!
