Very nice! Talk about sticker shock though, holy greenbacks batman!! Good luck with the new ride, and you;ll need to post a towing report so we have another data point besides e-light's. This new 6.4 is on my radar as the replacement for my 8.1 if I can ever bring myself to part with it....
I will be hitching up this weekend to test it out. Not actually going camping, but heading out to do a trail run. The new truck is so much taller than the old one, and I'll be adding the "picture frame adapter" under my 5er hitch which will raise it further. I think I'll need to adjust my 5er hitch.
I will only tow 30 miles or so, but it will give me some idea how it'll do. Maybe I'll take a passenger and shoot some video.
That would be awesome! - Gunship_GuyExplorerYou'll never run out of opportunities to take selfies with a big grin on your face. Congrats!

Oh, and if you have a standard 7' garage door opening and you buy one of these trucks....BE CAREFUL. Mine BARELY fits under the header. I bet I couldn't get a deck of cards between the roof of the truck and the garage door header.
Now just be careful when you get a little snow built up in front of the garage, had a buddy find that one out the hard way!
Nice Truck!
LOL
Me too last winter, caught it just in time though.
Congrats IB - ib516Explorer II

Copy that, I am already aware of that one though. :) - autorot8Explorer

I'm also in the 2500 but an "Outdoorsman" - Basically a Bighorn with a couple other things. I need a bench seat which doesn't come with a Laraime (or at least that's what my dealer said).
So, the wheels must be different on the Lairimes..... I have never noticed that before.
Unfortunately your dealer was wrong. I have a Laramie with the front split bench. The truck was comfortable last week driving around Las Vegas with four adults and two kids.
