Visiting the dealer this Tuesday to see what he found out, they are scheduled to go over the unit for delivery possible Wednesday or Thursday.
Overall the unit looks great, brand new only manufactured on May 7th. No other signs of shoddy workmanship as a matter of fact it looked clean enough to take home. The dealer goes over all units before delivery. We looked it over before signing the deal. We were waiting for this model to come in and he called us right away when it did. He looked at another 2016 Shasta with a different floor plan and it did not have this same situation. They are scratching their heads. He promised to make it right and I know he will, they are a reputable dealer. Like I said this was not a deal breaker.
What I don't understand, is why the dealer call the manufacturer the same day you were all looking the trailer over? Providing, of course it was during the manufacturers business hours too.
I am currently in the process of ordering a new TT and had questions the dealer couldn't answer. We went back into their office and got right on the phone to the manufacturer and got the information I was looking for.
