This is a busy time of year for RV dealers, a quick phone call to check status would be in order. If they are awaiting parts, then they should be able to tell you the problem (missing rod and handle, missing valve, ??). They have two to fix, yours and the other one that they have... wonder if they should practice on the other one first and then do yours with experience..
