Grey Tank System Leak

I closed the valve on the grey water system to flush sewer hose after black tank dump. When my grand daughter finished her shower there was water in the bottom of the shower and water leaking underneath. Opened valve drained system and left valve open, checked for leaks for 2 days afterward and everything is fine. I also checked all accessible areas under sinks and shower by removing panels and no leaks or water present. I don't know if this is normal or I should take to dealer to investigate further.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
  • Sounds like she took a very long shower and filled up the tank.

X2. Especially if you had no problems before or after her using the shower.
I would just monitor it but, not worry about it.
  • She did take a long shower and the tank was full to the point there was water about 1" deep in the shower. I guess my question is there an over flow on the tank that would leak water when over filled or should it be tight all the way to the drain and a connection is leaking.
  • The drain fitting under the shower is loose or cracked. Many manufacturers don't support the shower base properly and cracking is the result.
  • Drain line to grey tank could use a rubber grommet where line goes into top of tank........overfill tank and water can leak out thru that grommet

And as mentioned.....drain line fittings from shower. Most are just hand tightened and leak
  • I checked fitting under shower thru access panel and no leak. May be rubber grommet sounds like this may be normal. Any other thoughts. Thanks.
