Happijac Tiedown vs. Torklift Tiedown

I don't want to start a war, but I have two simple questions that requires simple answers. I don't even want to know the WHY of your answer. Just a SIMPLE survey.

How many Torklift tiedown owners have or would trade their tiedowns for Happijac tiedowns?

How many Happijac tiedown owners have or would trade their tiedowns for Torklift tiedowns?

Disclaimer: I have no association with Happijac or Torklift, but do own Torklift products

  • I have had Happi jac system for 4 years. Mainly purchased it due to cost factor at the time. Never had any issues with the system and trucks bumper is fine. Both our good systems from what I read.

I would not trade, and stayed with HJ on the new truck.
  • I have had torklifts on 2 different trucks and 2 different campers and would not change.
  • I like the torklift system easy to install myself. Could not use happijac my doors open all the way back and would hit the bracket. That is when the TC is not on the truck.
  • I have Torklifts. I could have chosen either one but after researching the products and reading about the installation for both I chose Torklifts.

    I would not change.
  • The only people that can honestly answer this are those who have owned both systems. I have always had the Happyjack system, over all satisfied. I do intend , in time for this upcoming season to modify my tie down system by adding torklifts rear tiedown arms to my supertruss hitch. Im not overly confident in the Happyjack rear bumper button tiedown. Looks flimsy and potentially could twist my truckbumper in an expreme situation. On the other hand I like the front tie down method off the Happyjack and will keep it. Also keeping the Happjack pistins in the rear tiedown.
S I guess I like elements of both.
