Big advantage to a hard side is you have access to everything all the time. Yes a pop-up can be put up or down in a couple of minutes, that is a long time when you just needed to change clothes, stop for a quick lunch, etc.
I go down lots of roads with low tree limbs, rocky parts, and stream crossings. Never did wish I had a soft side to make it easier. My TC is about 1,600# under my payload capacity which really helps.
The Cirrus use the Alde Radiant Heat which should give you the quiet heat. One of the newer kids on the block but supposedly well built, good customer service and some real neat features.
The only down size to the DRW is you have to watch for rocks getting stuck between the tires if you travel down rocky roads. Not sure just how much of a problem it is, but one of the main reasons I'm trying to keep my next camper light enough to be able to stay with a SRW.
