Wind is not fun, but I just slow down. Also, what speed winds are we talking about and what mods on the SRW or DRW?
A lot of the accidents were right in front of me.The SRW just had 3500 pound Helwig springs on an F-250 with a small 8ft Lance..The DRW is my currant with most all of the goodies which came with the truck..
It is the wind gust that get you..Or going behind a short hill then back into the open with sudden changes in steering..Yup...Saw to many accidents because of the wind from semi's off the road and on there sides/mobile homes destroyed and a lot of cars and trucks just could not adjust quick enough and of course,speed.
Coming back from Lewiston Idaho a month ago the wind was so bad I could hardly keep my little Dodge Gran Caravan on the road..My Pickup with TC never would have made it..Lot's of people pulled over..
Just isn't worth it to me...
