  • Great job! looks fine. I have several strips of the white ones installed inside our RV, wired directly to a fused 12v source. We really like them because we can leave them on without a worry about overheating. Across the top of a slide, they provide a soft indirect light.
  • I actually hardwired into the porch light switch inside the RV. I did a write up on the install a while ago...

  • ditto on the previous poster's advice:

    Cut the barrel plug cord off the AC adapter (black box) and wire it direct to the batteries, other end plugs into the white box.

    You need the white box, that's your color controller interface
  • Ditch the power adapter and wire them directly into the 12VDC porch light fixture. They appear to be 12VDC lights.
