Has anyone- Swtiched out steps
I am considering switching my metal steps into the RV to aluminum ones. Has anyone done this? What is the process, and is it worth it?

The change would be simple. They are most likely bolted to the floor or frame with 4 nuts and bolts. On our 'c' after unplugging the power to the electric step, I just removed the nuts in each corner of the step framework and out.
Is it worth it? Maybe, an extra step, wider, more stable, I can't see a big weight saving because the main framework of the 'aluminum' steps are probably steel.
