Has anyone- Swtiched out steps
I am considering switching my metal steps into the RV to aluminum ones. Has anyone done this? What is the process, and is it worth it?

We installed the aluminum Torklift steps. You need to order the correct width ones and they're a simple bolt-on swap. The advantage to them is that the bottom step sits directly on the ground which really cuts down the movement felt inside when someone is coming or going and they're a more stable feel when you walk on them. Also, they self-adjust for uneven ground when one side of the TT is on a site with slope to it.
Only downside is that you can't flip them down in seconds like you can with the stand fold-down steel ones. Not a big deal, it's just different.
Oh, and they look way sexier than black steel ones. :)
