And there is really no more room on the existing panel. The house has two zone AC and a pool. I'll need more circuits anyway when I finish building my new workshop out back.
I like to run the AC when cleaning, loading up before a trip, and unloading afterwards.
You have to have a particular license to pull electrical permits in FL, so your regular local yokel, farther in law, etc could not pull one. I've done my homework on this guy. He's the real deal, and I don't award contracts for electrical based solely on price.
And I'll be using my Progressive 30A EMS to boot.
I did consider 50 amp. Lets say I had only 30 amp, and I buy a new TT that requires 50. Why do some units require 50 - multiple air conditioners? I guess I would be out of luck. Might reconsider.
