I agree, big difference in cost, moving to 50amp. A 30 to 50 adapter can be used for a driveway hookup, if need ever arises. OP, needs to check electricians understanding of RV30. OP needs to check finished outlet with meter, BEFORE PLUGGING IN. Anyone can use a meter to check outlet, like pictured previously, and should be doing so, before plugging in at CGs.
