In addition:
1. I highly recommend that you install a disconnect switch at the new receptacle so that you can disconnect power before plugging in. (Should always turn power off first.) A "motor rated" 30 amp toggle switch works great for this because they are designed to handle the high inrush current of motors and are compact. I installed both the TT-30R recept. & switch in PVC boxes with weatherproof covers outside.
2. May want to consider voltage drop. If you intend to use the AC sometimes, you may need to go to #8 wire depending on how long the run is back to the panel and how stable the voltage is at the panel. Standard voltage is 120 volts, not 110 so if you have or get a voltmeter, you want 120 or close to it. Momentary startup of an AC unit draws approx. 60 amps and can cause significant voltage drop on long runs and if low enough and often enough can damage an AC unit.
3. If taking out a permit, you might need to consider what a load calculation would do to the existing house panel's load calc. especially for a 50 amp RV recept. vs 30 amp. An electrican can take care of this.
