The ram 1500 EDiesel won't beat the Cummins in anything but fuel mileage! Two totally different vehicles. The Nissan has a 6 lug 10.5" AAM axle the ram a 9.25". The Nissan is a 2500 badged as a 1500 and far more capable than the Ram 1500. If you care to compare the Ram 2500 to it then it begins to not look so good.
Please note the Nissan looks to be a much better truck then before and with the Cummins it will be hard to beat the fuel mileage compaired to the 6.7 Cummins and Powerstroke or the Duramax. But to compare it to any standard 1/2 ton is not fair.
