Battery EV's are making some inroads into local delivery truck market in urban areas. If you have light loading and only need 100-150 mile range before taking the truck back to the yard with a custom charging station it can sit at overnight...it can work.
Even with the very optimistic 500mile range, that's likely under 150miles if towing big RV. Plus the massive battery bank will eat up 30-40% of the payload (tesla battery packs are 1200lb...expect these to be 2 to 3 times as large).
