Yeah sure, 15 minutes to charge a Porsche to drive a few hundred miles.
Those don’t weigh much and have an extremely small aerodynamic profile and it doesn’t take nearly the power to move them as a truck carrying a substantial payload.
Electric vehicles are great, but you can’t expect them to be practical in their “re-infancy”.
At the beginning of the last century, it was about a three way split between steam, gas and electric.
At that time there was actually better infrastructure in place for electric cars, there were no gas stations.
Electric will probably re-emerge as a practical solution with a lot of benefits.
During this new beginning of it, of course it’s gonna be expensive and have some practical limitations.
but that doesn’t mean it’ll never work out.
