Yeah, that is another dilemma.
Since pollution in US is subject controlled by politics, it is hard to get reliable information.
But from what I know- propane engine exhaust is having less toxins that affect humans than gasoline, but it still emits something.
So what kind of exhaust propane makes? How it affects ozone layer and other issues?
My main beef with propane CONVERSION is that the carburetors are converted on housewife technology level.
Even propane is having minimally less energy in it, than gasoline, the converted engines use like 30% more fuel, even carburetors were never very efficient.
So the 30% more fuel has to go unburned or converted to harmful fumes somewhere?
Anyway, living in state with huge sun exposure, my ideal would be vehicle who would be self-sufficient drawing from roof panels.
