You see it is the tech in general that bothers me. As in those LED warning lights on the mirror or the resistant steering wheel. How can you trust anything that fails eventually? Might be corrosion or excessive AC ripple in the charging system, over time, hurting the solder or components in the circuits.
Those people that become complacent from a reliance on tech have a diminished return as they get older....... regular use of ones faculties, brain, hands, feet, reaction times and alertness all come well into play health wise, but while driving are a great benefit when needed, and how do you know that moment something will fail? Today most vehicles electronic failures simply mean a tow to a repair faciltity after calling from the roadside. Usually not a big deal.
I've read about lots of failures on sensors PDC's PCU's etc list goes on. So in my case, thinking we are running into an over reliance on tech.... Will the Gov't step in and have to require silver solder? Restrict owners from working on their own vehicles?
