I will get a brake controller on the truck regardless, i have looked at what i need, just need to get it done soon! :) As far as being a 20 year old vehicle, i do reconize that but i do not intent on towing this trailer long and far with it, probably just a couple trips around our state to start with. I anticipate one day soon to get another rig, which will most likely be a new toyota tundra 4 door or since i am also a VW fan (outside of the lancruiser the rest of the cars at home are VW's!),it could possibly end up being a V10 TDI. Time will tell. I will update my progress soon and post pictures of the trailer and the truck!
Sounds like realistic expectations and plan! You do realize, however, that camping is addictive... :B
