Help finding 12V fusebox on 2002 Sunnybrook 27FKS

Greetings,

I've lost all power to the refrigerator (Dometic Royale) and assume I have to reset the 12 volt circuit breaker, but I can't find it. The owner's manual has the location for various models but none of them are applicable for mine(2002 Sunnybrook 27 FKS).

Please help, everything in my fridge is thawing out.

Thanks

  • that stinks, literally. The cooling unit is dead and it's not going to cool. hopefully you can do something to preserve the food that was in it.
  • Lost all power to fridge and the smell of ammonia.......

    What model of royale?
Recall mod done to burner?......if so it probably tripped the power.

And the ammonia leak means cooling unit leak......also associated to lost of power.

New cooling unit replacements........just scroll thru to your model LINK

Thanks, I found the fusebox above the tv cabinet once I knew what I was looking for. The fuse was good, also the fuses under the control panel are good in the rear of fridge. Also smelling the distinct odor of amonia. Can't be good.

Your assumption is correct. An ammonia smell in the back of the refrigerator is absolutely not good. Might look for some yellow discoloring to indicate the location of the leak. Before replacing the entire frig, check into companies that build replacement cooling systems. If you are handy, this would be a cheaper option.
  • I have a 2006 FK and my breakers/fuse box is located on your left bottom of the entertainment center as you enter the trl. There is not a breaker under the refrig storage compartment just a plug in for the frig.

  • On our '95 Sunnybrook, it is under the sofa. I have to use a 1/4" nutdriver to take off the metal cover.
  • It is probably in the top of the upper cabinet above the TV just inside the door.
Black plastic box about 6x5x2 inches.
Battery disconnect switch is attached to it.

Your 12VDC Power Distribution panel which also houses the on-board converter/charger unit is probably located behind the vent looking doors below the oven or the fridge in this photo.

Don't know if they would have the 12VDC control fuse you are talking about or not.

This is typical 30AMP Trailer Wiring configuration that might help
