Help! Foolish me playing mechanically inclined again.

Since your truck is pretty new I'd think the nut is cross threaded onto the stud. Not sure if any type of lubricant would help a lot in that case. If it were me I'd try a dremmel with a cutoff wheel to cut off the nut(if there's room).
