A quick aside once you get the factory pads off. When I mounted mine, Stableload directions had an option where you pound the stud out of the factory pad, throw the stud away and then install the factory pad between the Stableload and the original mounting location. This allows the overloads to engage even earlier. This is what I did for my dually.
If you are going to use this option, you might not want to use a torch to remove the pernicious nut.
