It will make a harder unloaded ride. Torklift has provided guidance in the past that you should have about 1" clearance to preserve ride quality when not loaded. Your loaded ride will not suffer with the StableLoads in contact. If you plan keep the TC on the truck most of time, don't worry about it. If you drive the truck unload often, contact Torklift on the amount of StableLoad pad you can safely trim away.
